This is my own business. My goal was to create warm, approachable, informative copy for both prospective clients and general website visitors.

Pelegrin Sailing

I wrote the English copy for the Swiss-owned company Pelegrin Sailing, which runs classic ship tours around Corfu. The work is an example of "transcreation" - my brief was to reflect the German but create creative and sharp copy in English.

About

My background in journalism and feature writing is complemented by experience in communications at the Swiss private bank Julius Baer, where I gained experience putting complex topics into simple language. I also have experience writing blogs and copy for clients as diverse as a pharmaceutical consulting company, an environmental consultancy and the local initiative Arran Open Studios. I create readable copy that draws readers into the experience of the piece. I don't like sales-y jargon or pushy content. I like classy, subtle communication that generates trust.
